My Rockville, MD massage therapy practice is conveniently located right off I-270 (Montrose Rd. exit) at the Osteopathic Center for Healing. I am a graduate of Potomac Massage Training Institute in Washington, D.C. ("the Harvard of East Coast massage schools," Express 6/13/07), Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCTMB), a State of Maryland Licensed Massage Therapist for humans, and have pursued continuing education in a variety of modalities, including structural bodywork and myofascial release. I am also an Equinology Certified Equine Body Worker®, and have taught both human and equine bodywork. Please see my animal massage website for more information.
As a bodyworker and massage therapist, I address soft tissue (muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, etc.) through the use of appropriate massage and bodywork techniques to help you achieve desired change in your body.
You are an active participant in that process of change. My Rockville, MD massage & bodywork practice is permission-based and client-centered. My intent is to work together to help you achieve your goals, whether they be relaxation, balance, healing, or striving for an overall healthier you. All discussion and work between us will remain confidential.
Although I am experienced in Swedish and deep tissue massage, much of my work incorporates myofascial release, stretching, and movement. Each session is tailored to you and your body at the time you see me, keeping in mind your overall goals.
Bodywork is not a substitute for medical advice. I do not diagnose, prescribe medications or herbs, or give advice to clients regarding their medical condition.
My work is strictly non-sexual. Inappropriate client behavior will result in immediate termination of the session without refund of session fee.
